Forces and changes in motion*VOCABULARY* • Force – A push or pull on an object. • Some forces act through physical contact while others act from a distance. • Weight – The force (pull) that gravity puts on mass. Calculated by mass* the gravity constant. • Gravity – A force of attraction the earth has terrestrial bodies.
