Short-term keywords are also costly when compared to other keywords because of the high competition. 2. Long-Tail Keywords: Long-tail keywords are longer and more specific keyword phrases. They consist of more than three words and have fewer search volumes when compared to short-tail keywords. Long-term keywords focus on a specific niche and that’s why theses type of keywords has more conversion rate. 3. Mid-Tail Keyword: Mid-tail keywords are one of the best keyword types. They don’t have as high competition as short-tail keywords but still, they have good search volumes. For example, if the short-tail keyword is “Books” and the long-tail keyword is “buy books online”, then the mid-tail keyword will be “buy books”.
