  2. What is it ? My favouriteanimalisAxolotlMexican. HisscientificnameisAmbystomamexicanum. Thename "Axolotl" comesfromtheAzteclanguage - translationis "water-dog" (from "atl" forwater and "xolotl", whichmeansdog). Axolotlisverystrange-lookingcreaturefromMexico.

  3. What is it ? Itisanendangered and protectedanimal. It'samphibian and salamander. Allitslifeitis in thelarvalstage and stillisable to reproduce.

  4. What does it look like ? Thecolourofaxolotlisbrown, pink, albino, grey or almostblack. Here on thepicturesisanalbino, a goldenalbino, a pink and a black. Anadultaxolotlcanreach a sizefrom 18 to 35 cm in length. Typicaladultlengthissomewherebetween 20 and 28 cm.
