  1. Welcome to Third Grade Please make sure you have: • Completed the information card for both of your child’s teachers. • Signed your child in on the transportation form in their homeroom class. • Signed up for the Bear Facts and parent e-mails in the computer lab.

  3. Daily Schedule 7:50 a.m. – Morning Work begins 8:05 a.m. - Tardy bell rings 8:30 a.m. - 9:25 a.m. - Specials (Conference Period) 11:20 a.m. – Hawkins, Arnold, Willburn Lunch 11:25 a.m. – Miller, Blayney, Day Lunch 3:00 p.m. – Dismissal begins

Important Handbook Pages • Parent/Student Handbook is online. • Parent Check In: You will always check in at the front office, and you will need your Driver’s License (page 38). • Change of Transportation- must be in a written note. • Tardy Policy (pg. 15)- The tardy bell rings at 8:05. • Late Work/Make Up Work- Please see pages 29 and 30.

  6. Maplebrook Elementary Information • Bear Facts – make sure to sign up in the Computer Lab! • Visit the Maplebrook Website for more information and access to the teacher websites. • Best way to contact your teacher is through e-mail. • No phone calls home for any forgotten items (page 39).

  7. Maplebrook Elementary Information • Planners- sent home and returned daily. • Detention = 3 conduct marks in a day or 4 marks in a week (Weekly Parent Signature) • Study Hall is required for any absences or unfinished assignments/homework.

  8. Maplebrook Elementary Information • Room Temperature- Bring a sweatshirt! • Snacks and Water Bottles • Cell phones need to be turned off and left inside the backpack (Refer to page 40).
