  1. Welcome to the Rainforest!You and your team are now being hired as a Rainforest Animal Expert. There are many people who want to get rid of the beautiful rainforest to make money from the land.

  2. The Task… Over half of all plant and animal species live in the rainforest. Save the Rainforest Project needs your help to tell these companies about so many of these wonderful creatures and why the rainforest is important to these animals.

  3. The Task… • Your job over the next few days will be to research an animal that lives in the rainforest. Your teacher will assign you the animal that you are responsible for researching. • You will use your research to create an accordion booklet dedicated to your Rainforest Animal. • You will be able to share your book with your classmates.

  4. The report should include pictures or your own illustrations of your animal. You should write in complete sentences. The final report should be put together into an accordion book. Each folded section should be dedicated to a different category of your research. • Your Report will include: • What layer of the Rainforest does your animal live in? • Does it come out during the day or at night? • What does your animal like to eat? • Which animals like to eat your animal? (Who are its enemies?) • How does your animal protect itself? • Describe how your animal looks. • 2-3 Interesting Facts about your animal.
