General issues (1/2) • General issues • TEC is currently not too busy but forthcoming work item are expected to create significant activity • No change in the meeting schedule for the moment • Chairman will warn delegates prior the meeting if the meeting is likely to be shorter than planned due to a low amount of contributions. • Secure channel feature for toolkit traffic • A set of documents were discussed on that topic and finally postponed • The exclusion of some commands was discussed and there is an agreement that topic is to be elaborated within TEC • Contactless • Discussion on EVT FIELD ON was reopened (with relation to TEST group request for clarification • Timings were discussed, no agreement reached at this stage

General issues (2/2) • Confidential Applications • Scenario #1.B Pull Model without CA required • Liaison from GlobalPlatform • GlobalPlatform Card Committee confirms the work on a scenario without certificate from the application provider • GlobalPlatform provided the timing for the expected publication of this technical solution and announces that the GlobalPlatform internal draft will be shared wih SCP TEC • APIs • Discussions on upgrade of TS 102 241 to align with Rel-10 features of TS 102 223, some CRs available • WID: Memory integrity monitoring API for M2M applications (see later in this presentation)

  5. Request for advice • TS 102 600 : • Some companies in 3GPP CT6 raised an issue with resume and remote wake-up as solved in a previously approved SCP TEC CRs. At this stage, this is an argument used to reject the upgrade 3GPP CT6 specification references to the latest 102 600 version • A draft TS 102 600 change request that would gather consensus in 3GPP was sent by 3GPP CT6 to SCP TEC • At SCP TEC #38: • The 3GPP CT6 proposal was reviewed in SCP TEC and updated. • The SCP TEC update was agreed conditionally to 3GPP CT6 endorsement • A liaison statement was sent to 3GPP CT6 with this new proposal • The SCP TEC counter proposal can be found in SCP(11)0185

Outcome Documents – WIDs • Memory integrity monitoring API for M2M applications • SCP(11)0188 – SCPTEC(11)0056r1 • Topic: • Requirements for dedicated mechanisms approved in TS 102 240 • Adresses the degradation of non-volatile memory that usually have a limited write cycle guarantee • Optional extensions to UICC API for Java Card allowing applications to be alerted if hardware performances are degrading • SCP #54 is targeted for the output • CRs to TS 102 241 are expected
