  4. Store any file on SkyDrive and it’s available from any device automatically. With SkyDrive, you’ll never be without the files that matter to you.

  5. Core features Integrated into Windows Explorer and Finder on Macs SkyDrive users can access their stuff via Windows (File) Explorer and the OS X Finder via our desktop sync apps.

  13. If you have a web app Let users upload their stuff from SkyDrive Students with SkyDrive accounts will be saving their papers, presentations, notes, snapshots of the whiteboard, and more to it. Make it easy for them to bring those things into your web app. Make it easy to save important files to SkyDrive If a professor posts a syllabus, readings, or templates for group projects, students want to be able to access them anywhere from any device and easily share and collaborate with classmates. SkyDrive is the best place to save those files to.

If you have a Windows 8 app Save to SkyDrive by default using the Windows 8 File Picker Since every Windows 8 user with a Microsoft account has a SkyDrive, saving to SkyDrive by default is a good best practice to make sure users will always have access to content they were working with in your app when they need it.
