  1. BIBLE TRUTH is BIBLE DOCTRINE

  2. John7:16 NKJV 16 Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God TNIV 16 Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me. 17Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God

  3. God has given and preserved His infallible (without error when written) Word. It is “Sanctifying” doctrine. Jesus prayed. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.

  4. To “sanctify” is to set one apart from the crowd. The truths of God, really believed”

  5. God has given every believer His Holy Spirit. He teaches our hearts, and minds John 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.

  6. We need the WORD and the SPIRIT to guide us through swamps of deception

  7. “The gift of the Holy Spirit enables believers to possess a knowledge of the truth”. W.E Vine 1 John 2:26 These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. 27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

  8. Samuel anointed David. The oil symbolized God’s choice of David. God has chosen you

  9. The Holy Spirit lives in the believer and teaches the believer to know the truths/doctrines God gave us 1 Cor. 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

  10. But the believer can doubt, deny, ignore, rebel against the truth that the Spirit has taught him/her

  11. Ananias and Sapphira wanted to be praised by fellow saints for their generosity

  12. Ananias and his wife did not truly believe the doctrines they professed to believe 5:1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. 2 And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? 4 While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”

  13. 5 Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. 6 And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him. 7 Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. 8 And Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?”

  14. Satan filled the heart of professing believers to lie to the Holy Spirit (the church family & leaders) She said, “Yes, for so much.” 9 Then Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door,

  15. and they will carry you out.” 10 Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband.

  16. Karl Walenda learned the techniques and committed his life to them

Do not covet • John 14:23 The 24/7 presence of the Father and the Son in their lives. Also Matt. 6:6 • Revelation, chapters 2&3 Jesus sees and hears what goes on in every church and in the lives of every believer, even in their bedrooms. • Matthew 6:5 Doing good before others so they will praise you

  18. 5. Romans 6:23; Proverbs 28:13; 1 John 1:9 God forgives the sins we confess and forsake, but there are natural consequences. You can’t unscramble eggs. 6. 1 Corinthians 6:15 When we commit sin, we are bringing Christ into the situation. Not that He sins with us, but He is there 7. Ephesians 4:30 When we sin, the Holy Spirit in us is grieved (Christ in us is grieved)

  19. Isa. 47:10“For you have trusted in your wickedness; You have said, ‘No one sees me’; Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; And you have said in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me.’
