  1. THE BIBLE, DOCTRINE, AND YOU!

  2. DoctrinesThat Allow

  3. Doctrine One The Verbal,Plenary,Inspiration Of The Bible

  4. Doctrine Two The Holy Trinity

  5. Incorrect Views Of The Trinity Jehovah Witnesses

  6. False Doctrine Arianism One God Son H. Spirit Father Christadelphians Unitarians Created Being Mere Force GOD Jehovah Witnesses

  7. Arianism The Holy Spirit Is Not A Person But An Impersonal Force Only The Father Is God Jesus Is A Created Being Jehovah Witnesses declare that Jesus was created as the Archangel, Michael

  8. False Doctrine Mormonism

  9. Tritheism/Polytheism The Holy Spirit Is a Third God Separate From The Father And Jesus God the Father Is One God Jesus Is a Second God Separate from The Father

  10. Tritheism is a polytheistic view of God. It is taught by the Mormon church. According to Mormonism the Trinity of the bible are three distinct Gods. Mormonism also teaches there could be millions of Gods, each with their own universe and plan of salvation.

  11. False Doctrine God is three manifestations:  Father in creation; the Son in redemption; the Holy Spirit in regeneration Potter’s House Ministry T.D. Jakes Tommy Tenney (The God Chasers) Apostolic Church Of God United Pentecostal Church

  12. Modalism/Oneness The Holy Spirit Is The Father The Father Is Jesus Jesus Is The Father The Father Is The Holy Spirit Jesus Is The Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit Is Jesus One God – Three Manifestations

  13. UPCI - We must take three steps to obtain salvation. (1) have faith and repentance; (2) be baptized with water emersion in the name of Jesus only (because Jesus Is the name of God Father, Son, and Holy Ghost - and Matthew 28:19 tells us to baptize in the name (singular) of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) (3) receive the Holy Spirit, which is evidenced by speaking in tongues

  14. Oneness groups teach dogmatically that people who believe in the “Trinity” are hell bound. "Sincere profession based on a faulty concept of Christ is not enough; one must believe and obey the gospel. . . . Where does this leave those who have a certain degree of faith in Christ but have not obeyed the full gospel?. . . such people are pre-Pentecost believers, not part of the apostolic church. . . they need to be led to further truth. . . they are in the conception stage and have not yet had the new birth" (The New Birth: Series in Pentecostal Theology, vol. 2, pp. 313-14).

  15. No Assurance In Apostolic Oneness, Only A Continual Striving For Holiness That One May Be Worthy Of Heaven "Holiness is esential to salvation. Hebrews 12:14 is just as strong, as true, and as relevant to salvation as the words, 'You must be born again.' . . .After the new birth experience, a conflict arises . . . This battle is a battle for holiness, and we must win it in order to be saved" (In Search of Holiness: Series in Pentecostal Theology, vol. 3, p. 11). ". . . remember that a bad attitude will keep you out of heaven just as surely as any violation of outward holiness" (Ibid., p. 62).

  16. The Biblical Trinity One God In Three persons Each co-equal and co-eternal

  17. The Trinity The Father Is God Jesus Is God The Holy Spirit Is God The Father Is Not Jesus Or The Spirit Jesus Is Not The Father Or The Spirit The Spirit Is Not Jesus Or The Father Three Persons In One God

  18. Why Is The Trinity Important? It Reveals The True Nature Of God It Determines The Uniqueness Of: The Father - The Son - The Holy Spirit It Determines Correct Worship God must be known and worshipped as He is, not just as we suppose Him to be It Validates The Power Of Christ’s Sacrifice

  19. The Biblical View Of The Trinity The Trinity Is Biblically Describable, But Finitely Unfathomable

  20. The Trinity Is One God There Is No Other God Other Than The Trinity

  21. The Oneness Of God The Shema Deu 6:4 שׁמע ישׂראל יהוה אלהינו יהוה אחד׃ Deu 6:4 "Hear, O Israel! Yahweh/Jehovah is our Elohim, Yahweh/Jehovah is one ( Achad)!

  22. The Plurality Of The One God Elohim is a plural noun. Exo 20:3 You shall have no other gods (Elohim) before Me.

  23. 1Sa 4:7 And the Philistines were afraid, for they said, God (Elohim) is come into the camp. And they said, Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore. 8 Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods (Elohim)? these are the Gods (Elohim) that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.

  24. God refers to Himself 4X In The Plural 1x - Gen 1:26 And God (Elohim) said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness.

  25. The oneness of God (Elohim) is found in the use of singular Hebrew pronouns Gen 1:27 And God created man in His image; in the image of God He created him. He created them male and female.

  26. “Our image” in Gen. 1:26 can’t mean God is including the angels 1Co 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to have his head covered, because he is the image and glory of God. But the woman is the glory of the man.

  27. 2x - Gen 3:22 And Yahweh/Jehovah God (Elohim) said, Behold, the man has become as one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put forth his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever,

  28. 3x - Gen 11:6 And Yahweh/Jehovah said, Behold! The people are one and they all have one language. And this they begin to do. And now nothing which they have imagined to do will be restrained from them. 7 Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they cannot understand one another's speech.

  29. 4x - Isa 6:8 And I heard the voice of the Yahweh/Jehovah, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then I said, Here am I; send me!

  30. Plurality And Distinction Is Seen In God Speaking To God Psa 45:6 Your throne, O God (Elohim), is forever and ever; the staff of Your kingdom is a staff of righteousness. 7 You love righteousness, and hate wickedness; therefore God (Elohim), Your God (Elohim) , has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows.

  31. New Testament Application To Jesus Heb 1:7 And of the angels He says, "Who makes His angels spirits and His ministers a flame of fire." 8 But to the Son He says, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. 9 You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity, therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows."

  32. Psa 102:24 I said, O my God (Elohim) , take me not away in the midst of my days; Your years are through the generation of generations. 25 Of old You have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the work of Your hands. 26 They shall perish, but You shall endure; yea, all of them shall become old like a garment; like a robe You shall change them, and they shall be changed; 27 but You are He, and Your years shall have no end.

  33. New Testament Application To Jesus God speaks to His Son - Ps. 102:24 Heb 1:10 And, "You, Lord (Jesus), have laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the works of Your hands. 11 They shall perish, but You will remain. And they shall all become old as a garment, 12 and as a covering You shall fold them up, and they shall be changed. But You are the same, and Your years shall not fail."

  34. The Holiness Of God Is Echoed In Trinitarian Praise Isa 6:3 And one cried to another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is Jehovah of Hosts; the whole earth full of His glory.

  35. Rev 4:8 And each one of the four living creatures had six wings about him, and within being full of eyes. And they had no rest day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God, the Almighty, who was and is and is to come.

  36. Each Member Of The Trinity Is Called God The Father Is Called God Joh 6:27 Do not labor for the food that perishes, but for that food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you. For God the Father sealed Him.

  37. The Son Is Called God By God The Father Heb. 1:8 But to the Son He says, "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. 9 You have loved righteousness and hated iniquity, therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows."

  38. The Son Is Called God By Isaiah Isa 9:6 For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be on His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The Father of eternity, The Prince of Peace.

  39. Jesus Is Called God By The Apostles Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us

  40. Jesus Is Called God By The Apostles By Thomas - Joh 20:28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, My Lord and my God!

  41. Jesus Is Called God By The Apostles By Paul - Tit 2:13 looking for the blessed hope, and the appearance of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.

  42. Rom 9:3 For I myself was wishing to be accursed from Christ for my brothers, my kinsmen according to the flesh, 4 who are Israelites; to whom belong the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the Law, and the service of God, and the promises; 5 whose are the fathers, and of whom is the Christ according to flesh, He being God over all, blessed forever. Amen.

  43. Jesus Calls Himself God Rev 1:8 I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.

  44. Rev 1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. Rev 1:17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand upon me, saying to me, Do not fear, I am the First and the Last 18 and the Living One, and I became dead, and behold, I am alive for ever and ever, Amen. And I have the keys of hell and of death.

  45. The Holy Spirit Is Called God Act 5:3 But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the price of the land?

  46. 4 "While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God. Also Compare Isa. 6:8-10 to Acts 28:25-26

  50. Salvation Depends On A Right View Of The Trinity 2Co 11:4 For if, indeed, the one coming proclaims another Jesus, whom we have not proclaimed, or if you receive another spirit, which you did not receive, or another gospel, which you never accepted…
