  8. Judging Protocol • Proper attire • Ring management. Consistent sorting process • Ring men • Pen Layout • Placing of animals • Dismissal of animals • Management of both small and large classes • Announcements to audience • Rule 900, Section viii, a through h • Rule 900, Section xii

  9. Tattoos • Judges responsibility to insure tattoos are checked, are readable and accurate. Do it yourself or supervise. • Discuss with show officials on checking of tattoos. • May want to ask exhibitors to bring papers after each class. • Make sure all potential point earning animals are checked. 10 or less in class, 1st & 2nd. Up to 26, top 3. Up to 51, top 4. 101, top 5. • Tattoos must be on show report.

  10. Oral Reasons • Dazzle them with brilliance. • Baffle them with BS. • Accurate, concise, meaningful

  11. Inspections • Animal must be at least 10 months old • Must have clear tattoos that match papers • Dehorned or polled animals cannot be inspected Refer to Rule 1100 of ABGA Rules & Regulations for exact procedure.
