  2. EXODUS 33:4-5 NRSV When the people heard these harsh words, they mourned, and no one put on ornaments. For the Lord had said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘You are a stiff-necked people, if for a single moment, I should go up among you, I would consume you.

  3. EXODUS 33:5-6 NRSV So now, take off your ornaments, and I will decide what to do to you.’” Therefore, the Israelites stripped themselves of their ornaments, from Mount Horeb onward.

  4. EXODUS 33:7 NRSV Now Moses used to take the tent and pitch it outside the camp, far off from the camp; he called it the tent of meeting, which was outside the camp.

  5. EXODUS 33:8 NRSV Whenever Moses went out to the tent, all the people would rise and stand, each of them, at the entrance of their tents and watch Moses until he had gone into the tent.

  18. What Does Glory Mean? The Hebrew word used was “kabod” meaning “heavy in weight.” It was often used to describe uniqueness or splendor.

  19. 1 Corinthians 11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given her for a covering

  20. What Does Glory Mean? The Greek word for glory is “doza” meaning strength or wealth. 2 Corinthians 4:6 is a good example

  21. What Does Glory Mean? For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ

  22. What Does Glory Mean? Philippians 1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

  23. Unveil Your Righteousness I will make my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord
