Provides secure authenticated access to information via Digital Certificates. Implementation Date: October 16, 2014 (Off cycle Release 5.5) MIS:https://mis.ercot.com/pps/tibco/mis Related Initiatives: PGRR036, NPRR622

  3. POI Access Information 10/16/2014: All identified POI items will be accessible on the MIS. All POI information will post to the MIS going forward. 10/16/2014 - 11/1/2014: POI site will be available but information may not be current. 11/1/2014 – 11/14/2014: The POI site will redirect all users to the MIS site. 11/15/2014 Forward: The POI site will no longer be accessible.

  4. MIS Information A digital certificate is required to access the MIS Users may obtain a digital certificate or update roles by contacting their USA (User Security Administrator). Please contact ERCOT Client Services if you do not know how to contact your USA. All MIS information is defined as Public, Secure or Certified. The POI content will fall into the Public, Secure, Certified data classifications. All digital certificates provide access to Public and Secure data sets. All certified data sets are accessible with the EntityType_Extracts role.

  5. Finding Data and Information A POI mapping document has been created and posted to ERCOT.com: http://www.ercot.com/services/mdt/index.html The mapping document provides a list of all current POI products with information on whether the product transitions to the MIS, is deleted or archived, the new name of the MIS product and the posting information. Note: This list will not be maintained EMIL A list of all required external products and their corresponding attributes are found in the ERCOT Market Information List (EMIL). As of 09/29/2014, the updated R5 EMIL posting will include all transitioned POI products. This is the official reference document for all external products and is updated with every scheduled release. http://www.ercot.com/services/mdt/userguides/index.html

  6. Additional Information External Web Services (EWS): All POI documents will have an associated Report Type ID listed in the EMIL. This ID is used to programmatically download information using the External Web Service (EWS) GetReport. EWS XSD Information and EIP Specifications on creating and using EWS and GetReport is available at: http://www.ercot.com/services/mdt/xsds/index.html MIS Extract and Report Index: A new Planning Information Index page is being created and added to the Extract and Report Index area for ease of use.

  7. Groups and Roles A new area for Groups is being created on the MIS. The current defined MIS Groups are PDCWG and TO. PDCWG access is user specific and is granted through a signed NDA with ERCOT legal. TO access is entity specific and based on registration parameters. The new digital certificate roles associated to these groups are: ICE_M_VIEW_PDCWG and ICE_M_VIEW_TO.

  8. Wireframes The next set of slides is a mock up of what the MIS will look like with the planning information pages, portlets and links.
