  1. BINGO ATM Automatic Triangulation Measurement Geoinformatics & Photogrammetric Engineering, Dr. Kruck & Co. GbR Tännichweg 3, D-73430 Aalen, Germany www.gip-aalen.de

  2. Features ofATM • BINGO ATM is an automatic digital aerial triangulation for both digital and frame images • Automatic Tie Point Matching and aided GCP Measurement • Method is Area and Object Based Matching combination • Fully automatized (one button solution) with default settings - like other BINGO modules

  3. Area Based Matching method • Regions can be detected with high repeatability since they posses some distinguishing, invariant and stable property - distinguished regions (DRs) • The set is closed under continuous transformation of image coordinates • Closed under monotonic transformation of image intensities.

  4. Object Based Matching method • The detector extracts from an image a number of frames, ’attributed regions’. • The descriptor associates to the regions a signature which identifies their appearance compactly and robustly. • Only the frames with significant values are taken for next calcualtion. • The description of frames are used in the second step to find corresponding frames of two neighbor images.

  5. Combined Matching • RANSAC method is used for finding epipolar geometry. • Efficient and practically fast detection algorithm • The user can define optimal number of points per image and preferred matching method • Both Matching method are used default

  6. The control points can be measured mono or stereoscopically with correlation. The system can automatically register sketches of control points. The report of these sketches can be printed. Measurement possibilities

  7. Relative orientation for the matching with a BINGO modul Special BINGO-module runs during matching for photo groups LIMBO - Reduces missing measurements SAMBA - Removes the identical points WAPLO – Checks the weak areas Coordinates can berecived from BINGO BINGO Aided Matching

  8. Main Screen layout

  9. Interior for digital photos Automatic tie point collection Observe GCP Save all Options Toolbar

  10. When BINGO ATM is called for the first time from working directory, the dialog to set up the project is open. Workflow - step by step

  11. Define camera

  12. The second folder of the project definition window has boxes for the GPS/IMU data and the GCP’s data. All these are optional The supported formats are: BINGO, IGI, Applanix AeroTopoL aeroxml file ASCII file with/without angles, DEG/GON Input data file definitions

  13. Open images

  14. Set up flightlines

  15. Interior orientation

  17. Result protocol

  18. To add missing tie point click with the right mouse button on the foot print window at desired position When running "New point at this position" BINGO ATM displays all images where new tie point can be found. Add new points
