  2. Ohio State University is located in Columbus, Ohio. There are more than 52,000 students enrolled at Ohio State University’s main campus each year. Ohio State offers over 100 majors that are different, fun, interesting, and amazing. During the first year at Ohio State there is a program giving to freshman to make their first year at Ohio State easy and life-changing. The athletics department gives students a chance to experience more sports than the traditional four sports which are football, basketball, soccer, and baseball. The sports that you can participate in are cross country, fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, pistol, rifle, and swimming or diving. Ohio State offers scholarships such as Merit scholarships, Land Grant scholarships, Presidential scholarships, and Medalist scholarships. Students are also inclined to receive financial aid. Ohio State is one of the largest universities in the nation and it is also very diverse. Ohio State encourages out of state and in state high school students to come and join the Buckeye family!
