Are You Ready? • A science fair project is an investigation that is designed to solve a problem or answer a question. • For the next 2 and a half months, you will be working individually or in groups of two on a science topic of your choice through research, experimentation and observations. • You will have class time in LA and MST to prepare your project AND you will be required to complete some of the work at home as well. • This will be an exciting opportunity for you to apply your knowledge of our science program, and partake in this year's Peel Region Science Fair competition at Louise Arbour S.S. April 13-15, 2012 if your project is selected. • REMEMBER: If you choose to work with a partner, you must remain as a team throughout the project, so please CHOOSE WISELY and be sure you can DEPEND ON THIS PERSON to meet with you and COMPLETE THE PROJECT TOGETHER. • This is your chance to find that answer or solution to that problem that has been bugging you!

GO!!! • This year, our science fair will be held on Thursday March 29th at 1pm in the gym. • Your projects will be judged by professionals in our community. • Parents will have the opportunity to see your work the evening of March 29th. • Winners of the Lougheed science fair will have the opportunity to compete with other students in peel April 13-15 at Louise Arbour. • Happy Experimenting Grade 7’s!!!
