Library Rules • No food, drinks or gum/sunflower seeds in the library • No electronics (cell phones, iPods, etc.) • DO NOT BANG ON THE DOOR if it is locked. • Please be quiet and courteous. • Students, who do not follow these rules or who cause severe disturbances will be asked to leave the library.

  3. Library Hours • The library hours are: • Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday • 8:15am-3:15pm • Wednesday • 10:15am-3:15pm • Students may use the library before school starts and during both lunches. • Students are NOT allowed in the library on a “drop in” basis. Please reserve the library for student use during teaching periods.

  4. Rules For Teachers: • Teachers may reserve the library during 1st- 4th and 6th period. 5th period library is closed for lunch. • Please give a minimum of 24 hours notice when reserving the library. • Enter your name in the “Period Block” under the day you want to reserve the library in the Reservation Log (located at the circulation desk). • Reserve time: No more than three days a week. • Advanced sign up: No more than two weeks in advance. • Please DO NOT send students to the library during teaching periods on a “drop in” basis as other teachers may have previously reserved the library.

  6. Checking out books • Select a book from the shelves. You may check out two books at a time. • Come to the circulation desk to check out. You MUST have your student ID card to check out a book. • Books may be checked out for two weeks and may be renewed as long as the book is not overdue. • DO NOT re-shelve books. Please place un-borrowed books on the book cart near the front of the library! • Student is responsible for the replacement costs of any lost, stolen or damaged books.

  7. Computer Use • ONLY ONE STUDENT PER COMPUTER! • Computers are to be used for school research and reports ONLY. • You MUST have a student ID card to use the computers. • Computers are available by reservation only, or when you class is in the library for research. • NO printing. • Please save all school projects to a flash drive.

  8. Remember: • Be quiet and courteous at all times while visiting the library. • Bring your student ID every time you visit the library. • Books are due two weeks from the day you check them out. • YOU are responsible for the books you check out. • Keep the library area, shelves, carpet, walls and table clean and neat.
