Background • Utilization of geothermal potential of small-scale (low-medium enthalpy) in Indonesia is necessary and urgent to do • Accelerated development program has set a 10,000 MW power plant to the stage-1 which is the contribution of geothermal power plants is 3967 MW • To achieve the target, utilization of the small-scale geothermal potential resources is very necessary

Conclusion • Small Scale Geothermal Power Plant is very important for the development of renewable energy in indonesia, especially in the eastern part since there are a lot of potential geothermal sources to replace the diesel generator. • Control system for the 3 MW condensing type geothermal power plant has been developed. • The proposed control system has number of instruments (PT, TT and FT) bigger than the conventional system at the same capacity because of the neccesity of more detail acquisition data for analysis and research purposes. • Step by step partial testing such as data connection test, point to point testing and loop tes have already done and confirmed. The SSGPS is under construction and will be in operation by the end of this year.
