  1. Welcome! PowerPoint 101 Please log in to a computer and we will get started shortly! If you haven’t already registered for Learn360, please go to our Epsilen course and look in the Learn360 Dropbox for your school’s passkey.

  2. Getting Started • Hundreds of themed templates within Powerpoint! • Office button • Design tab • Just click New Slide on the Home tab when you want to move to the next slide. • Arrow will show you slide layout options.

  3. The Design tab • Change your Background • Change your Color Theme • Change the Font of your entire presentation

  4. The Animations Tab • Add animations to the entrances and exits of your text or pictures Just click the object, then… • Down arrow next to animate • Custom animation • Add transitions to your slides

  5. Learn360 Quick info… • Go to www.learn360.com and login. • Search—find a video you’d like to save • Save in C: drive, but be careful…

  6. The insert Tab • Insert Pictures or Clip Art • Insert Movies

  7. Movie Tips • If your movie doesn’t work on the big screen, you may need to change your hardware acceleration. Click here. • Note: You’ll need to go to our Multimedia Classrooms Course, Help Forum, then Playing videos through DVD… • Keep your movie file in the same place as your PowerPoint file. (Ex: P: Drive) • You may want to make the movie full screen.

  8. The View Tab • Normal view is default • Slide Sorter: Best to rearrange/delete • Notes page • Slide Show • Slide Master: Changes affect entire presentation

  9.
