  4. Hard Choices • Read the choice and make a good decision based on the questions you ask yourself. Charlie is very angry with Ben and wants to yell at him. What are Charlie’s choices? What is the question he needs to ask before giving in to his anger?

  5. Another Hard Choice Susan’s mother asked her to do the dishes, but her favorite TV show is on. What are Susan’s choices? What should she think about before making her choice? http://www.ebr.lib.la.us/teens/teenzone/greatreads/watching_tv_large.gif

  6. Another Hard Choice Robbie is really hungry and his friend, John, offers to let him get in line in front of him. What are Robbie’s choices? What should he ask himself before deciding where to stand in the lunch line? http://www.fotosearch.com/bthumb/CSK/CSK016/ks124904.jpg

  7. What I Choose Affects Others • Everything we do makes a difference in someone else’s life. • Good choices may help other people. • Bad choices may cause problems for other people. • Considering others before you make a choice will help you lead a happier, healthier, and safer life.

  8. What Happens Next • Your choices and actions have consequences. • A consequence is what happens next. • Some consequences are good and some are bad. • Before making a decision, think ahead towhat could happen and make a smart choice!
