  2. A deciduous forest is made up of mostly deciduous trees. A deciduous tree is a tree that loses its leaves according to season. Like maple trees for example. They lose their leaves every autumn. Or even oaks, birch, or dogwood are also all deciduous. But trees/large bushes like holly, pine, and blue spruce are all coniferous trees. A coniferous tree is made for colder climates and doesn’t lose its leaves/needles seasonally. It is always cone shaped to allow heavy snow to just slide off instead of snapping a branch. Coniferous trees don’t just show off their cone shape in public but they also show it off in their name. most coniferous trees are evergreens. The word evergreen literally means forever green. But back to the point. As I said deciduous forest is made up of all or at least a large majority of deciduous trees. If it has close to or more evergreen then deciduous then it is either a evergreen forest or a mixed forest. What is a Deciduous Forest?

  3. The climate of a temperate deciduous is generally a mild winter and summer. Not too hot but not too cold and definitely not a spring like climate all around. There is a definite difference between all the seasons but they aren't harsh differences. They just give you gentle reminders that it is a different time of year and that many changes are coming with it. It is a mild climate where the summers are warm to hot but not too hot about 70 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. And winters are not too cold generally. About 35 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit. It generally gets between ?. It is extremely leafy as it should be seeing as it is a forest. It is kinda dark on the forest floor but with enough light for small plants to live. What is the Climate of a Temperate Deciduous Forest?

  4. Firstly there are many small animals related to the household dog or cat. Like foxes, lynxes, and even coyotes. Larger animals include wolves, mountain lions, and distantly brown bears. The forest is also home to white tailed deer. The Animals in a Temperate Deciduous Forest

  5. Many deciduous trees such as beech, birch, sugar and red maples, hornbeam, elms and certain types of oak along with any other common flowering trees can be found there. Some animals, such as deer, feed on these trees. The Plants of the Temperate Deciduous Forest
