  2. *plants* • Sweet gum-Sweet gum leaves get there name from the way they smell. They also have 5 main lobes. • Scarlet oak-scarlet oak leaves are found in sandy areas. they have sharp blades. • Sycamore-sycamore leaves have 5 points. they can be found in parks and near ponds and shores.

  3. *animals* • Wild boar-a wild boar has ruff and bristly hair. They live alone or in small groups. They have long snouts. • Cardinal-cardinals eat seeds and lives in parks or gardens. • Turkey-turkeys eat seeds, nuts, berries and insects. The female lays about 8-15 eggs.

  4. *facts* • In the temperate deciduous forest most of the plants are leaves. • Some of the animals in the forest you could find in an area near your house or even in your backyard. • Temperate deciduous forests can be found in the eastern parts of the United States like Canada ,Europe and Russia.
