  2. All About George’s life growing up Do you know how George Washington Carver grew up? Well, he was born in Missouri around 1864. Around when Carver was born, slavery ended. Carver grew up on the farm where he was born. After many years, Carver went to college in Iowa. Carver’s birthplace is a national monument and people go there to see where one of the greatest scientists and teachers were born. Carver died in 1943 at age 79.As you can see, that is how George Washington Carver grew up.

  3. Goals and Accomplishments Do you like peanut butter? Well if you do, you can thank George Washington Carver for it. He was one of the best scientists and teachers who ever lived. He was also a farmer. He made things out of peanuts and cotton, then made peanut butter. Overall, that is why we remember George Washington Carver.

  4. Did You Know? Wow! These are some cool facts about George Washington Carver! When George was a child, he was known as the plant doctor and had his own secret garden. Carver was born as a slave but grew up as a free man. Carver was kidnapped by the Carver farm with his mom Mary. Overall, those are some cool facts about George Washington Carver.
