  2. George Washington Carver was born into slavery in 1861.

  3. Ten year old George Washington Carver left to find an education.

  4. Later he became the Tuskegee Normal intitutes’ director of agricultural research. • In 1896 he used much of his time to help the southern farmers to improve their economic situation.

  5. George Washington Carver became a famous scientist who experimented with plants to create new better products derived from peanuts, sweet potatoes and soy beans. He revolutionized the farmers economy.

  6. INVENTIONS • He invented many things some of them are… • Instant Coffee • Shaving cream • Bleach • HUNDREDS of uses for peanuts • And many more…

  7. George Washington Carver died 1943 January 5. But his innovations and inventions will never be forgotten.
