RECENT ACTIVITIES Florida Governor Eddie Lee’s Slogan: “EMBRACE THE POSSIBILITIES!” July 12, 2012 CLUB MEETING INVOCATION Bill Montgomery presented the proposed By-Laws change, to make the 2 (two) times a month meeting schedule take the place of weekly meetings. After much meaningful discussion, the members voted to have the By-Laws changed to reflect 2 (two) meetings per month vs. weekly meetings. The proposed slate of Officers and Directors was presented by the Nominating Committee chair, Carl Krouch. (See below) There were no new nominations from the floor, so the membership will vote on the slate @ the July 26 Annual meeting. Jane Fairall will provide detailed recommendations at next Board meeting on the Eliminate Project. Butch Shadwell. announced the upcoming Arlington Club interlclub at JU on July 26 at 6pm. JuliAnna & Jane provided details on Web site update. Paula Powell was not in attendance to report on financial results of Urban Flats fund raiser. John Bates thought we had a good profit margin, but did not have any numbers. Heavenly Father, May Your grace inspire love in all of us for those people whose condition of life has been reduced.
