2. PAST When I was little every night before I went to bed one of my family members read a bed time story to me. When I got into grade school the librarian or the teacher would read books to us. I loved when people read to me, it was relaxing. Around third grade they gave us goals to read by the end of the semester and that would influence me to read more because I got a prize. Then when I reached middle and high school no one read to me and no one gave me a Goal to reach by the end of the semester so I didn’t read as much. One day I found books that Related to me and I found more that really got to me, so then I actually started to like to read and it was amazing!

3. MAGIC TREE HOUSE SERIES Mary Pope Osborne The Magic Tree House series were about kids who had a tree house that would take them on Adventures through out time. I really LOVE to travel even when I was little and I liked reading about other peoples adventures. I wanted to be just like the kids in the book, I wanted a magic tree house that took me places all over the world, but I didn’t really want to go back in time. The Magic Tree House was that one book that I was excited to read when I was in elementary school. I remember going to the library every Monday and running straight to this book. I am pretty sure that I read every book in the series. I think every kid should read this series, it would be great for a elementary teacher teaching History.

4. AMY AND ROGERS EPIC DETOUR This book is about a girl named Amy and her dad dies when she was little And she thinks it is her fault so when she gets older she never drives. Her and her mom live in California and are moving to Connecticut but Amy wants to finish her school year out so her mom leaves her there and when school ends her moms friend son Roger will drive her to Connecticut. When the time comes they decide to take a detour visit a whole bunch of places on the way to Connecticut. This book inspired me because I want to travel around the United States. As I said I love to travel and when I was reading this book I wanted to be in the car with friends just driving on the interstate to an unknown destination. As Amy was describing her feeling about the road trip she was on I was thinking that her and I’s feelings were exactly the same. The book was also romantic in a way and when Amy and roger were in the car together they got closer and it reminded me of my boyfriend and I because we both want to take a road trip together soon! 5. THE SUMMER I TURNED PRETTY JENNY HAN The summer I turned pretty is about a girl names Belly, her and her family go to a beach house every summer with there family friends since she was born. Every summer she went down there she never got attention until the summer she turned 16. She had a crush on her moms friend Susannah's boys Conrad and Jeremiah but this summer she met a boy named Cam. This book really got to me because I love the beach and I met my boyfriend now on the beach two years ago and I never got attention from anyone until I was about 15, so I felt like our life's related to each other. I really like romantic type books because I feel like I am more interested in the book and this book was on the romantic side and I got interested in it fast
