  1. Joshua B. Halpern, Howard University, DMR 0611595 Research publications are an incredible accomplishment for community college students. Three students from Prince George’s Community College reached that goal in our PREM research program. Jordan Holmes worked with Howard Katz (Hopkins) and Jason Matthews (Howard) to demonstrate new ZnO precursors Joshua Gilcreaseworked with Josh Halpern (Howard) and Chia Ling Chien (Hopkins) to characterize biphasic GaN nanowire growth. KwadwoOwusu worked with Scott Johnson (PGCC) and Tito Huber (Howard) at Howard on characterizing Bi nanowires in a new cryostat system.
