  1. A Bear’s Tale By Jack D Duxbury High School

  2. The Beginning Once upon a time, in the forest of Bearona, there lived two rival bear tribes. These tribes fought with one another regularly but for some time, their hatred had remained dormant. Though they hadn’t feuded in some time, there was bound to be a clash soon.

  3. The Lonely Beareo Benvolibear had been searching all throughout the forest for Beareo to no avail. He looks and looks and eventually finds him trudging up from the watering hole. They talk and Beareo tells Benvolibear that Bearaline has broken his heart. Benvolibear suggested that Beareo come with him and Bearcutio and crash the Capubear’s party. Beareo agrees and they head out to make arrangements.

  4. The Party As the gang heads out to the party, Beareo had second thoughts about going because of a dream that he had. But he forgot all about it when Bearcutio went into one of his crazy fits. Beareo went to the party, not thinking of any dream or Bearaline. At the party, they all disperse and go their own way. But Beareo sits up against a tree at the edge of the festivities. That was until he laid eyes upon Julibear.

  5. Seeking Julibear At the end of the party, Beareo looks all through-out the creek in search of Julibear. He finds her sitting underneath a pine tree smelling a small flower.Julibear is startled by him but she was otherwise glad to see him. They talked for hours and finally Beareo leans in to kiss Julibear.

  6. The Truth Comes Out Throughout their conversation they both learn what tribes they come from. When they hear that they are from rival tribes, they get frightened. But Beareo says that they should run off to another forest where there is no feud and they can live happily ever after.

  7. The Tragic End In their new life everything was good. But one day when Julibear goes out to find some berries for dinner, she gets caught in a bear trap and bleeds to death. Beareo is worried and goes looking for her. Once he finds her, he is so overcome with grief that he goes to a nearby pond and drowns himself.

  8. THE END
