  4. ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE FIELD OF SECURITY OF RAD. SOURCES • 2 dedicated Guides (‘Security of High Activity Radioactive Sources’ and ‘Security of Well Logging Radioactive Sources’) • 7 related workshops in Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia. • Facilitation of exchanges between European device manufacturers (self-contained gamma irradiators) and technical teams from the US DoE regarding the intrinsic robustness of these irradiators and options to increase their security by design. • Partnerships with the Oil & Gas industry to support the strengthening of security measures for radioactive sources used in well logging applications. • Our primary focus is radioactive source users, but in our activities we welcome all stakeholders willing and capable to contribute to the security of radioactive sources.
