  2. AcademicWorks Background AcademicWorks was founded by individuals with deep backgrounds in HiEd technology focused to help financial aid, career services, human resources, and collegiate athletics. AcademicWorks is delivered as a Software as a Service and does not require the installation or maintenance of any software on campus. AcademicWorks can be configured for the needs of each Institution. Clients can create new scholarship application and scoring criteria through a convenient administrative interface. AcademicWorks can be easily integrated with your SIS and the campus login processes. Clients can designate new import fields and sync data as frequently as nightly. AcademicWorks can be implemented in 45-60 days with minimal campus IT resources needed.

  3. Unique System Features and Behaviors • AcademicWorksautomatically integrates with your student information system on a nightly basis. • The system supports both “Auto-Apply” and “Student-Apply” application methodologies. • If necessary, the campus may grant departments with limited scope and view for their respective scholarships. • Scholarship start, end, review, and archive dates can be set on an per-opportunity basis, allowing for “overlapping” scholarship cycles or extended scholarship searches. • Where appropriate students can submit Thank-you letters and other documents as part of the acceptance process. • Scholarships may be archived indefinitely, keeping the history of applications, notes, and awarding information.
