  2. Paleo • Paleo’s time period was 1,100 B.C - 8,000 B.C . • Their food sources are hunting and gathering food. • Weapons/Tools they used were spears , atlatls and spoke shaves. • Their shelter were based camps.

  3. Woodland • Woodland’s time period was 1,000 B.C – A.D 900. • Their food source’s was corn. • Weapons/Tools used were bow and arrow , spear points and atlatls. • Their shelter were circular houses.

  4. Mississippian • Mississippian time period was A.D 800 – 1,600. • Their food source’s are corn , beans , squash , sunflowers and goosefoot. • Weapons/Tools used were stone axes , digging sticks , and fire. • They had rectangular or circular pole structures.

  5. Archaic • Archaic time period was 8,000 B.C – 3,000 B.C . • Their food source’s are turtles , fish , shellfish , birds and smaller mammals. • Weapons/Tools used were stone points . • Their shelter was houses.
