  2. Things that I will be including in this slide show. Information on 5 different types of snakes: The eastern diamondback RATTLESNAKE,KING COBRA, ANACONDA, eye-lash viper, and the eastern coral snake.

  3. The eastern diamond Rattlesnake Crotalusadamanteus

  4. At birth they are between 12 and 15 inches in length and are born with venom and fangs. Females usually lay up 14 eggs 8 feet (2.4 meters) in length and it weighs up to 10-26 poundsLife span: they can live to over 20 years, but in captivity, even longer Size, height, weight, life span

  5. Snake Rat They mostly eat small mammals such as rats, rabbits, and other rodentsonly requires 2-6 rodents a year Food!

  6. Sandy Dune This snake prefers a dry area such as a sandy dune Florida Habitat The snake’s habitat is in the southeast region of the united states or Florida

  8. Life span: 20 years Size: 13 feet Weight: up to 20 pounds FACT: ONE BITE CAN KILL AN ELEPHANT FACT: VENOM IS USED FOR PAIN RELIVEVERS Height, weight, length, life span Cobras can be up to 18 feet in length, that makes them the largest,venomous snake

  9. Do not attack unless provoked to. food THEY WOULD EAT OTHER SNAKES, MAMMALS, AND LIZARD EGGS

  10. Prefers a rainforest or a humid jungle habitat This snake is indigenous to southeast Asia near or next to the Indian ocean

  11. BIG SNAKE! anaconda (Eunectesmurinus)

  12. Life Span: up to 10 years Size: 20 to 30 feet Weight: Up to 550 pounds Height, weight, length, life span Can reach up to 30 feet making them the largest snake in the world!

  13. To kill it’s prey it coils it’s muscle until the animal loses all oxygen Their mouth has stretchable ligaments so they can eat a big animal no matter what the size food Mainly eat wild pigs, deer, birds, turtles, capybara, caimans, and even jaguars

  14. Anacondas mostly live in swamps and marshes , but mostly in a rain forest habitat Lives in central Africa ;northern region of Africa

  15. Eye-lash viper Bothriechisschlegeli

  16. Life Span: up 10 years Weight: 226 g(0.5 lbs.) HEIGHT, WEIGHT, LIFE SPAN They are 18 to 30 inches long, note that females on longer than males

  17. Only needs 2-6 meals a year FOOD! The eye-lash viper mostly like to eat lizards and snakes

  18. Mostly live in rainforest habitat The eye-lash viper is indigenous to Central and South America

  19. Eastern coral snake (Micrurusfulvius)

  20. Life Span: up to 7 years Height, weight, length, and life span they are 20 to 30 inches in size and they can reach up to 2 feet as a fully grown adult

  21. Like the King Cobra this snake does not attack humans unless provoked Food! The eastern coral snake eats frog, lizards, and there own kind

  22. habitat The eastern coral snake is indigenous to the southeast area of the united states and the northeast region of new Mexico
