  2. Habitat: • Live in North and South America • Live in swamps in Bolivia • Live in tropical rainforests, streams, marshes, holes, rivers, and lakes • They also live in the Nimbi desert in South Africa • They also live in forests in Australia.

  3. Description: • All snakes are the same colour as their habitat to camouflage • Some snakes are dry and slimy • Some snakes are dry, soft and cool. • They have a pattern of colours-green black and yellow.

  4. Adaptations: • Snakes have a heat pit to sense body heat of other animals • Snakes are the some colour as their habitat to camouflage • They have poisonous fangs • Snakes have a slimy bottom to help them slither • Fangs to protect itself and to kill its prey

  5. Food Chains: • Some snakes eat eggs , large rodents , birds , fish , chameleons, turtles, wild pigs , deer ,birds , and caimans. • A snake is a carnivore. • A birds and crocodiles eat it.

  6. Interesting Facts: • Anacondas are non venomous snakes • Anacondas are as fat as a telephone pole • There are 2,700 kinds of snakes • A python has 1000 bones. • a Giant anaconda can weigh 500 pounds more than a lion. • Some snakes are 8 to 10 inches

  7. Harm to Habitat: • Cutting down trees is harmful to a snakes habitat • littering
