Chapter 5,6,7 Terms • 2. Review Sheet (26 Questions) No Warm Up Wrap Up 1. List and describe 1 reason you feel Andrew Jackson was a great/horrible President!

  2. Activity - Rubric Provided Directions: • Andrew Jackson is on trial for illegally removing Indians from their home. Should he be jailed or set free? • You and a group of friends have decided to attend the local trial. In groups, 3 picket signs must be created that shows your groups approval/disapproval. As a group you will research the Cherokee Indian Removal and decide AS A GROUP whether Jackson should be set free, or jailed. • Each group must comprise 3 picket signs, each with their own slogan that is catchy and supports your reasoning to set free/jail using historical references. • This picket sign must clever, creative, and historically accurate. Groups will present their picket signs on Thursday prior to the review where a rubric will be provided! – This should not be taken lightly! Participation/Work Ethic is just one aspect of the rubric. • On presentation day, you must on a separate sheet of paper (that will be attached to your picket sign when turned in/presented): • Create a paragraph that fully details and explains your picket sign. Should be typed, Times New Roman, Font Size 12 • Create a paragraph that fully explains your groups decision making process of why Andrew Jackson should be held accountable or not.
