Units of study in November In Grammar, we will be introducing verbs. Our Writing focus will be on Informational writing, which includes “How To” pieces. Students are becoming more proficient with “no excuse writing words”, as they continue to practice correct sentences on our weekly dictation tests. Please check the bottom of the dictation tests for skills covered to help prepare your child. In Math, we will work on understanding the skills of linear measurement, using inches and centimeters. We will continue reviewing time and money skills. Basic facts practice is still crucial. In Social Studies, students will be learning about Georgia’s past, including the Creek and Cherokee Indians, Tomochichi, James Oglethorpe, and Mary Musgrove. `
