  2. Patient Observation • Patient Observers • Inclusion Criteria: • Suicidal • Homicidal • Commitment Papers • ETOH withdrawal • Telesitter failure • Global Patient Observation Policy to include both PO and Telesitter

AvaSys Telesitter • Continuous Video Monitoring • Remote visual monitoring system that uses advanced audio and video technology to monitor multiple patients simultaneously from a single location • Inclusion Criteria: • Risk of falls/injury • Non-adherence to safety instruction • Pulling at lines/tubes • Cognitive impairment • Confused / agitated • Wandering • Does not record • MD Order is not required • Consent covered under admission • Meets all HIPAA and patient privacy • VMT observes patients from a remote monitoring station
