  4. Reading • Reading Workshop • First day of every week • Content: • Independent Reading (PCR book) • Skills and Strategies • Reading Minutes (oral presentations) • Genre Study • Article of the Month (Non-fiction) • Poetry • Homework: • 20-30 minutes of PCR most nights of the week

  5. Grammar • Unit 1: Review-Noun, Pronoun, Sentence Structure • Unit 2: Verbs-Tenses, Parts, Sentence Patterns • Unit 3: Phrases-Prepositional, Adjective/Adverb • Unit 4: Complex Sentences and Clauses • Pretest and Post Test
