  3. …and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

  4. that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim 3:15-17

  6. Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret, it leads only to evildoing. Psa 37:1, 7-8

  7. Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

  13. Whether the “sermon” is long or short, what we teach and believe must be based on the word of God. If our “sermon” harmonizes with God’s word, may we determine to live by it every day.
