Day 1 • aster- star • asterisk- a small star-like symbol used in writing and printing as a reference mark • vert- turn • divert- to turn aside from a path • script- writing • inscription- a note, as a dedication, that is written or signed by hand in a book • tempo- time • temporary- lasting for a short time only

Day 2 • multi- many • multimillionaire- a person who possesses a fortune of many millions of dollars • cosmo- universe; world • cosmology- the study of the origin and structure of the universe • chron- time • chronic- continuing for a long time or occurring frequently • cred- believe • credulous- willing to believe or trust too readily

Day 3 • aqua- water • aquifer- any geological formation containing or conducting ground water • port- carry • portable- easily carried or conveyed by hand • circ- circle; around • circumvent- to go around or avoid • hydro- water • hydroplane- a seaplane that can glide on water (noun); to skim over water (verb)
