  2. Day 1 • ex— out of; from • exterior— the outer surface or part • external— pertaining to the outward or visible appearance; outer • excursion— a short trip or outing to some place

  3. Day 2 • expunge– to strike or blot out; erase; obliterate • exude— to come out gradually in drops, as sweat, through pores or small openings; to display abundantly or to radiate • exonerate– to clear free from guilt or blame

  4. Day 3 • excise— to cut out or off, as a tumor • exoskeleton— the protective or supporting structure covering the outside of the body of many animals • expedite– to speed up the progress of; to issue or dispatch an official document

  5. Day 4 • neo— new • neology— a newly added word to a language • neonatal— of or pertaining to newborn children

  6. Day 5 • neogenesis— the regeneration of tissue • neocolonialism— the policy of a strong nation in seeking political and economic influence over another independent nation

  7. Day 6 • poly— many • polygon— a figure or shape with three or more sides • polygamy— the practice or condition of having more than one spouse at one time

  11. Day 10 In your LAN, create a vocabulary 3x3 using any of your vocabulary words from List 5. Use your vocabulary 3x3 to write four sentences using all three vocabulary words organized by columns or rows.
