  3. Negative aspects Saharan dust outbreak Sao Vicente, CV • Airport Closures • Turbulence for aircraft • Reduced visibility for sea traffic (<1 km during winter) • Respiratory Hazard for large coastal urban populations. • Respiratory Hazard for fishermen, ferry passengers.
