Project Implementation and its Strategy 03 Two-step Strategy: “Train the Trainers” Dissemination of gained knowledge, skills, know-hows to widen the coverage of beneficiaries • RTCs will be carried out in three areas – agriculture, industry and environment treatment in Advanced Radiation Technology Institute (ARTI)* in Korea • Phase 2 focuses more on advanced lectures and on-site trainings * ARTI: a radiation specialized research institute with eminent R&D results in the field of radiation advanced materials engineering, environmental engineering, biotechnology, breeding research and radiation equipment. Designated as IAEA Collaborating Centre for Nuclear Application Technologies

  9. Project Implementation and its Strategy 04 Expert Missions – Outreaching Local Communities Dispatch of regional experts • Target countries to be decided based on the country request forms • Expert missions: consultations on building human & institutional capacities, demonstration of experiments, on-site training, delivery of lectures • * will be implemented in conjunction with national workshop/training course to widen coverage of national beneficiaries • Experts from the region ⇒ direct response to the pressing issues of local communities, strengthen domestic technical and managerial capabilities
