  2. 1. Precum cerbul apa o caută, Aleargă-nsetat la izvor; Aşa eu Te vreau cu-nsetare Pe Tine, al meu Salvator; Căci unde în lume e bine Ca eu să mă pot odihni? Nu poate, Isus, fără Tine, Nicicum fericire a fi! Aşa eu Te vreau cu-nsetare, Pe Tine, al meu Salvator.

  4. 2. Când sunt doar cu Tine, Isuse, Dispare durerea ce-o am, În schimb bucurii am nespuse. Ferit eu mă simt de duşmani; Cum pot ca să tac eu vreodată, Când am un aşa Salvator? Trimis de cerescul meu Tată, Ca singurul Mântuitor.

  6. 3. Acel ce cu Domnul trăieşte Se simte voios ne-ncetat. Acel ce pe Domnul slăveşte Cu slavă mereu e-mbrăcat; Căci lui de nimic nu îi pasă; Doar este Isus viaţa sa! Dar Domnul pe el nu îl lasă Şi-n urmă îl va-ncorona.
