  3. What you can expect from me • I am available before school in C310 and after school in C310 for any help that you may need. I am willing to work with you so you can meet your potential. • Notes, PowerPoints, homework, etc., for class should be posted on my Website. • To get to my website go to www.ridleysd.org • Under schools click on “Ridley High School” • Under “Faculty” click on marianne martin • I will try to get your homework, tests, and quizzes back in a timely manner. I usually get tests and quizzes back the next day. Labs usually take longer to mark.

  4. What I expect from you • An interest in the class (class participation) • Be on time • If absent, turn work inbefore schoolinC310, check the boards for assignments and get appropriate papers. • If you were absent for a test or quiz you will take it the next day you are in class unless other arrangements have been made with your teacher. • Assignments are to be turned in on time. If work is accepted late, there will be a 10% drop in the grade per day. Work will not be accepted once it has been turned back to any class. • If you know you will miss class (field trip, sports, etc.) please let me know so I can get your work.

  5. Classroom Management Issues • Don’t just sit in class, be PART of the class • Participate, ask questions, enjoy the class! • Work with students who will work with you. • Be on time (if late have your planner signed and timed) • For 1st block, if you are late: 4 times = 1 grade lower; 6 times = 2 grades lower; 8 times = 3 grades lower; 10 times = fail marking period
