  2. What’s in LEAP Bridge v9.0.0 Many Enhancements to the ABC Wizard: • Alignments can be tied to XY Coordinates • Multiple Cross-section Templates • LandXML v1.2 import • Alignments • Profiles • Cross Sections (Superelevation) • TIN Models • Define Parallel Structures in Multiple Bridges dialog

  3. What’s in LEAP Bridge v9.0.0 Many Enhancements to the ABC Wizard (continued): • Support for hollow-core slabs, channel sections and precast solid slabs • Definition and Modeling of: • Bearing Pads • Drilled Shafts • Battered Pile • Abutments (Stem Wall, Pile Cap)

  4. What’s in LEAP Bridge v9.0.0 3D viewer Enhancements: • Show Ground (Imported from a LandXML file) • Compass showing North • 3D coordinate display of structure or ground • New menus and icons • Display deck reinforcing • CIP Box/Slab show realistic cross-sections

  5. ABC Wizard Improvements Import Multiple cross sections from LandXML

  6. ABC Wizard can now define Abutments

  7. 3D Model Shows Battered Piles, Abutments, Drilled Shafts

  8. 2D Views Show Abutment, Drilled Shafts, Battered Piles All Reinforcement will also be shown

  9. Improved Interface: • New Tool Bar • New Icons • 2D Compass • Auto - Selection Window • Improved Library installations • Two-color gradient background • Improved Speed

  10. 3D viewer now shows Ground

  11. 3D Coordinates of cursor position • Will show true Elevation, Station & offset. • Useful for measuring lengths, obtaining Elevations etc.

  12. What’s new in GEOMATH v9.0.0 • Definition and Modeling of: • Bearing Pads • Drilled Shafts • Battered Pile • Abutments (Stem Wall, Pile Cap) • Girder Layout Wizard • Level Manager • Zoom In/Zoom Out icons added • Improved speed / Vertical recompute option • Stepped cap / Beam seat-bearing separation • Status Bar Filter for Piles, Columns and Footings

  13. Integrated Abutment/drilled shaft/piles • GEOMATH is now fully integrated with LEAP Bridge and exchanges drilled shaft, abutment (pile cap/stem wall) and battered piles data

  14. Automatic Girder layout wizard • Quick method to layout the girders in entire bridge using wizard.

  15. GEOMATH Level Manager

  16. Improved Speed • Using "Vertical recompute” users can make geometry changes very quickly & update the elevations at the end of the project, resulting in speeding the performance.

  17. Updated Define menu for all bridge components • Ability to define column, drilled shaft, battered pile, bearing and footing properties using define menu.

  18. Improved toolbar • Now, the toolbar is improved and made user friendly

  19. What’s new in CONSPAN v9.0.0 • Deck Slab Design using Strip Method – LRFD 4.6.2 • Updated to 2009 LRFD Spec – Fatigue Limit State considered automatically • Improved Auto-strand generation • Honors Deck Bulb Tee’s with no topping • Up to 50 trucks can be rated concurrently • New Summary Rating Report – allows rating of single span or whole bridge • National Rating Vehicle add to Live Load Library • No longer compute stresses in topping top (deck) by default

  20. What’s new in CONSPAN v9.0.0 • Display a Summary of Beam Stresses and Moments • Diaphragm Wizard • ‘Copy to…’ button added for Diaphragm Loads • Option to Define Materials per Beam • Option to neglect Elastic Gains in Losses • Sacrificial Deck Thickness moved to Geometry tab • Updated to Manual for Bridge Evaluation, 2008 • Write Deck Reinf. to LEAP Bridge • Improvements to Dead Load Wizard

  21. CONSPAN Deck Slab Design

  22. CONSPAN –Diaphragm Wizard

  23. CONSPAN – Option to not compute deck slab stresses

  24. CONSPAN – Option to specify material properties per Beam

  25. CONSPAN – Option to ignore Elastic Gains in LRFD Losses Requested by: Georgia DOT Minnesota DOT Virginia DOT Illinois DOT

  26. CONSPAN – New GUI for Truck Selection • Select upto 50 trucks for Permit Load Rating. • Simplified User interface for selection of Trucks.

  27. What’s new in CONBOX v9.0.0 • Support for T-Beam structures

  28. What’s new in CONBOX v9.0.0 • Automatic Load Generation

  29. What’s new in RC-PIER v9.0.0 • Stepped Cap Definition, Analysis and Design • Start and End Elevations • Input Individual Step Thickness • Custom Load Combinations • Generate Default Combinations • User Defined LC’s by selecting Load Case and Factor • Filter Analysis results to view specific Members and Nodes • Import loads from CSV file or Copy/Paste from Excel • Ability to define Footing eccentricity in X & Z directions

  30. What’s new in RC-PIER v9.0.0 • Ability to define different check point for flexure and shear in cap design • Stem Walls can be eccentric • New pile section library • New load case for Permit truck, Fatigue Truck in LRFD • Minor enhancements: • Flag for Kl/r in column design • Improved footing dialog • Ability to select lateral tie/stirrup size etc • Improved/enhanced printout capability
