UN-Water Decade Programme on Capacity Development (UNW-DPC) • Hosted by United Nations University (UNU) in Bonn • Funded by the German Federal Government • Overall goal: • UNW-DPC strengthens the coherence and effectiveness of the capacity development activities of the more than two dozen UN-Water members and partners • Accelerate the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals related to water and sanitation • UNW-DPC sees its capacity development work as supporting each stage of the knowledge and capacity development cycle: • Knowledge production • Knowledge management and delivery • Analysis of gaps and needs in the provision of capacity development • Evaluation of what has been done 5th World Water Forum
