  2. Background • PFI (Private Finance Initiative) School to be built by Miller Construction • Government Funded • Supported by the Local Authority • School is designed and built for 820 students • Starting December 2014 and completion March 2016.

Site Plan • The new school will be built on the green field adjacent to Palace Road • Our current school will continue to be fully used until the new building is ready • In March 2016 when the new school is complete the children will move in after Easter • All the old school buildings will be demolished and the land returned to playing fields

  5. New School Facilities • 2 storey building • 22 General Classrooms • 7 Science Labs • 4 ICT Labs • Specialist Technology, Music and Art Rooms • New PE facilities • Dance Studio • 110 m2 Library

  8. More Facilities • 200m2 Dining area • Hall with Bleacher Seating for assemblies, concerts, lectures • Social spaces for students all around the building • Enhanced Sports areas. • Disabled Access • Dedicated SEN rooms and facilities

  9. Community Sport The new Sport facilities will be available to the local community after school. They include: • A Fitness / Cardio Room • Dance Studio • Community Room • 4 Court Sports Hall
