  1. JROTC CADT LEADERSHIP CAMP Briefing Agenda • 9-14 June 2014 • Departure/Pick-up location • Camp Bullis, San Antonio Texas • Camp Mission • Graduation Ceremony • Camp Contact Number

  2. Departure/Pick location • On 9 June cadets will arrive at Jack Yates High school parking lot no earlier than 7:30am and not later than 8:30am • Cadet will arrive in duty uniform (ACUs) • Pick-up location will be at Jack Yates High School parking lot on 14 June, 5:00pm

  3. Camp Bullis is approximately 193 miles from Westside High School

  4. Camp Mission • To provide an environment conducive to the practical application of good citizenship and leadership techniques, and to introduce cadets to life in a military setting • 300 cadets from Houston ISD JROTC program

  5. Graduation Ceremony • 1030hrs, 14 June in the Camp Bullis Post Theatre, Bldg#5900 • Parents, relatives, and friends are invited to attend graduation Important Note: Parents must go to Fort Sam Houston first to get a vehicle permit in order to get to access to Camp Bullis. A photo I.D. for all vehicles occupants and proof of vehicle insurance is required for the vehicle permit and entrance to Camp Bullis.

  11. Administrative Notes • Cell Phones- are discouraged, however, is allowed. Cell phone reception signal is weak. Cell phone control measures will be implemented, at a minimum cell phones will be made available for communication with parents after the evening meal • Personal Property, due to limited secure storage space and the possibilities of loss or theft, items such as radios, and electronic devices are not permitted • No knives, buck knives, Brass knuckles are permitted
