  3. Assessment Debrief Includes the Coach, who receives a copy of the assessment. This contains the following under each of the 7 skills being assessed: • Opening comments • Three behavioral examples • Selection Summary • Coaching Tips

  5. Sponsoring Coaches are asked to help the Church Planter answer just one very important question: “What does a life-giving, Biblically faithful Foursquare church look like in my context?”

  6. We Get there by the Sponsoring Coach asking the Planter outcome and resource questions: • Discover - reality • Dream - about what could be • Design - a Missional Plan • Deliver - a Redemptive Community

  7. Accountability and Sustainable Coaching Structures Online Coaching Reports • How is the health of the family life of the Church Planter?
 • Were there any specialist(s) brought in to assist this month? Describe.
 • What challenges are you facing and how are they being addressed?
 • What gains have been made since the last meeting?


  8. Online Coaching Questions • Do you feel stalled, on target or ahead of projected time frames for working with this church plant? Describe.
 • Who needs to be invited to assist in your next meeting time?
 • What assistance can your District Missional Coordinator offer you in sponsoring this church plant?
 • At this point, is there any resource(s) that would help you be better equipped for the challenges you face as a sponsor?

  10. Missional Motivation for Coaches • Relationships-caring for the person before the task, taking the time and action needed to build sustaining credibility. We believe nothing is more missional than doing ministry with people who have mutual love and respect for each other. • Service-valuing empowerment over control, listening, timely responses, mending and healing where needed, delivering information, resources, encouragement and celebration.

  11. Missional Motivation for Coaches • Context-valuing the uniqueness and needs of each person. Celebrate individual and geographic distinctive, delivering a customized engagement of ministry appropriate to each setting. • Collaboration-teamwork and cooperation over individual accomplishment, keeping the needs of the person in focus. Drop what you’re doing to advance the cause of others.
