Our Schedule • 9:00 - Morning Meeting/Calendar Math • 9:30 – Reading Workshop/ Daily 5 • 10:50 - Snack/Working snack • 11:05 - Specials • 11:55 – Lunch • 12:20 - Recess • 12:40 - Math • 1:40 - Writer’s Workshop • 2:15 – Word Study • 2:45 – Science/ Social Studies • 3:30 - Circle Time (Summative Meeting) • 3:35 - Cleanup/ Pack up • 3:40 – Dismissal • You can find our daily schedule on Ms. Are’s Webpage

  5. Specials Schedule • Monday: Art with Ms. Platz • Tuesday: P.E. with Mr. Papola • Wednesday: Guidance/MOSAIC/Enrichment • Thursday: Music with Mr. Martini • Friday: Library with Ms. E & P.E. with Ms. Doh Please return all library books on Fridays. Wear comfortable shoes to PE on T and Th!  .

  11. Technology Available Technology: • Desk top Computer, Lap tops, and iPad Carts for student use in our classroom • Alpha Smarts • Computer Lab visits • Document camera • SMART Board

Homework Homework is given Monday-Thursday. • Reflects what we learned in class • Must be returned in homework folder • 20 minutes of reading every night! • Please help guide your child, but it is not necessary to correct homework. -A posted note on homework- alerts me to an area of weakness  -Homework is “graded” based on completion.

  13. Classroom Community • Our classroom is a community. In our community, we have rules to ‘keep us safe’, ‘protect our rights’ and ‘make sure we are treated fairly’. The 3Ts We take care of Ourselves. We take care of Each Other. We take care of This Place.

  16. Parent-Teacher Conferences October 9th*, 10th and 11thPlease sign up  This conference will be about sharing the beginning of the year assessments and setting goals/expectations.
