COURSE OBJECTIVES • 1.To acquaint the fundamental principles of two-valued logic a various devices used to implement logical operations on variables. • 2.To introduce the concept of memories, programmable logic devices and digital ICs • 3.To Explain the basic operations of microcontroller. • 4.Improve written, oral, and presentation skills related to Digital Electronics and engage in life-long learning.

COURSE OUTCOMES After successfully completing the course, the students will be able to • Demonstrate the basic logic gates and various variable reducttechniques of digital logic circuit(unit I) • Design various sequential circuits and counters(Unit II) • Design synchronous sequential models and state Machines(Unit III) • Describe PLDSand Implement hardware circuit to test performance and application(Unit IV,V) • Explain the architecture and use of microcontrollers for basic operations and Simulate and verify using simulation software(Unit VI) 6. Improvewritten, oral, and presentation skills related to Digital Electronics and engage in life-long learning.
